Information for Coaches

Coaches
Thank
you for volunteering your time to help the kids in our community to develop and
improve their soccer skills. All coaches participating in MSYSA must have
their Risk
Management Card with them at all times during any MSYSA related
activity. Risk Management is extremely important to help protect our youth
players. To get your risk management card or to re-certify, please click
here. You can do everything online.
In
House Coaches
Games
began on April 12, 2008 for all in house teams. Click the
following to view the In-house
Game Schedule and Concessions
Schedule. We still need volunteers for the Concession please contact
Carol at Community Ed if you are available to volunteer your time.
Recreational,
Select and Travel Coaches
Games
will begin on April 12, 2008
for travel recreational and select
teams. Travel
Teams Schedule for Spring, 2008. Coaches,
if you wish to coach a select team in the fall you must complete the
Application for Coaching and turn
it in to Community Ed by March 31, 2008.
If
a game is cancelled, please call your field scheduler immediately so that
referees can be cancelled. Also call your field scheduler to reschedule games.
Coach's Training
Hartland
Community Soccer Association encourages coaches to further their knowledge and
education in coaching soccer. To that point, as of January 8, 2006, HCSA
has agreed to reimburse 50% of the registration fee to any Hartland coach who
successfully completes their E license course.
Referee
Performance Form
Coaches
please complete the Referee
Performance Form to let Chris Schiller know how the referees are doing and
what they need to work on. It is also important to let the referees know
when they are doing a great job. Once you have completed the form, you can
either save it and email it to Chris at cschiller@hartlandsoccer.org
or you can drop
a hard copy off at the box near the referee sheds.
